Talks & Demonstrations

I love spreading the word of jam and preserve making far and wide. From teaching numerous local WI groups in the East Midlands to TV shows broadcast in the Middle and Far East and lots in between.

I have talked at meetings and conferences on the subject of jam and preserve making, from specialist groups such as regional allotment association members to larger audiences such as Women in Rural Enterprise annual meetings, Grand Designs exhibition, Brogdale Apple Festival and Country Living Fairs.

You can't beat popping on an apron and getting the jam pan on the hob. I've been lucky enough to teach hundreds of people the art of preserving the harvest at ambient temperature at events across the country, including CarFest, The Big Feastival, The World's Original Marmalade Awards . . .

I am available to offer talks, demonstrations and hands-on workshops to groups, public events, conferences or exhibition features. They can be tailored to your requirements both in content and duration. I really prefer some audience participation and welcome the opportunity for your guests to 'make and take'. All necessary equipment and ingredients can be provided and facilities can be quite basic - we are used to producing jam in marquees in fields with no running water!

About Rosie

Preserving is something I have loved doing ever since I can remember – I have memories as a very small person helping my Mother to make jars of jam ready for the Winter.
